The Munters Corp. DryCool Mini, Model DC120, is a residential whole-home dehumidifier system that provides 120 pints of moisture  removal per day. The unit utilizes a condenser reactivated desiccant dehumidification process to provide dehumidification and supplies approximately 200 cubic feet per minute. Controlled by either a unit or wall-mounted humidistat, it comes standard with R-410A refrigerant and is available with optional MERV 13 filter and UV light. |

Case Study - Roosecote Power StationRoosecote Power Station was opened as a joint venture between Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) and Lakeland Power. Gas turbine combined cycle systems exhibit significant efficiency advantages over other means of generation. A gas/air mixture is burned to power the turbine and this air has to be aspirated from the external environment. Munters assessed the air intake system and presented recommendations of improvements, which could be made. A simple examination of the existing system led Munters to believe that all of the operating difficulties could be solved by the retrofitting of high efficiency mist eliminators as the replacement first line of defense against water/salt ingress. |
