The HC Series by Munters Corporation is a scaled down version of the commercially available DryCool Series. The air is cooled and dried by an integral air conditioning system, and then dried further by traveling through the desiccant wheel. The heat from the air condition system is used to dry the desiccant wheel and exhaust the moisture outdoors. Most people would be familiar with desiccant dehumidification as the white bag of powder that is often packaged with electronic equipment such as VCR's and DVD players. |
